No shows from the other regular peletoneers meant Maccy faced a solo push up to Woolsbarrow Fort. As luck would have it he bumped into a run buddy, Dave, who quickly dispatched dog and took up the saddle – a much appreciated last minute companion.
Great to see the blue sky and sun again after such a dreary spell of weather. A late start so only a short forest circuit of 13 miles with only the briefest of stops to take in the view atop the Hill Fort.
